Northend Community Center is a testament to the power of cooperation and collaboration and in a community. Championed by Faith Church, the development nestled in the heart of Lafayette’s north side brings dozens of social services and community activities together under one roof. Hanna Center chose to relocate to the facility where they will continue to celebrate cultural differences and provide services that improve the quality of life for youth through seniors. Shine On University, a service dedicated to those with disabilities, also has their own dedicated space at Northend, as does Meals on Wheels and Reclaimed Hope thrift store, both well established and vital social services in the Lafayette community. Flour Mill Bakery also calls the facility home with an expansive kitchen and culinary preparation space which is in addition to a full commercial kitchen reserved for other community activities.

Faith Church now operates its counseling and mentoring ministry out the new facility with a specially designed space on the second floor complete with conference rooms, private mentoring rooms, a library, and administrative offices. This compliments a co-working studio on the first floor which designed to encourage and support local entrepreneurs. Of course, no one visiting Northend Community Center will overlook the expansive Fitness Center complete with a double gymnasium, running track, and aquatic center. An activity center dedicated to teens and various size community rooms is also available throughout the facility to further Faith Church’s mission of reaching everyone in the Northend community.
