Tippecanoe Arts Federation
Lafayette, IN
2019
A former Carnegie library from the early 1900’s, the Wells Community Cultural Center is now operated by the Tippecanoe Arts Federation as a gallery and performing arts space. The iconic building houses expansive galleries and performance spaces on the upper level while meeting rooms, art studio, dance hall, and high-tech recording studio are all located below. The essence of the original building remains with careful attention being paid during the renovation as to not diminish the building’s exterior and interior significance to the history of Lafayette, Indiana, as well as the legacy of Andrew Carnegie.
